Embroidered Felt Ornament

What you need: assorted colors of felt cookie cutters in desired shapes embroidery needles embroidery floss in assorted colors scissors for both paper and fabric permanent fine tip marker stuffing (I used cotton balls) 1 safety pin a piece of paper Trace cookie cutter shape on to the paper to make a template. Cut out your shape. Pin template to fabric and cut two pieces of fabric per ornament Embroider both pieces of fabric. Use two or three strands of embroidery floss. In my ornament, I 'free handed' a snowflake. Use a blanket stitch to stitch edges together, stop about one inch from ending and stuff ornament. Finish closing.
